New island (Nyön in swedish) is a suitable stop for you out on the water at summer or on the ice during winter. To make it here you can, for example, walk, ski, skate or ride a scooter over the ice during winter. In summer you can take the boat here, or why not paddle? Regardless, you can park at the guest jetty. The island is a larger concrete pillar that in the past, about a hundred years ago, was used to park ships at. Today, it is used for grilling in the cabin, warming up in the sauna, having some coffee at the bench and perhaps enjoying the view. Whether it's the sparkling water surface or the glistening ice, you have a view to enjoy all year round here!
You will find the island behind the saw out in the water by the river inlet. It is located near the old dock.
