Today, there are eight small boat berths at Örviken's marina, below the boathouse. All are booked and used. But the village association wants to expand the port and build a guest jetty, something it has now received approval for.
From Skellefteå municipality, Örviken Village Association was granted a total of SEK 204,000 for the upcoming work! In addition, the village association has received rural funds of SEK 150,000 via the county board. The village association contributes with SEK 40,000 and voluntary working hours. The investment is thus a total of SEK 394,000.
